Ann's new book, Thoreau's Laundry, was
recommended by Oprah in the July issue of O Magazine.
"Thoreau's Laundry" was selected as one the 100
Distinguished Stories of 2007 by Best American Short Stories and
awarded special mention in the Pushcart Prize 2008.
Ann's memoir, "My Other Husband," appears in
An Uncertain Inheritance: Writers on Caring for Family, just out
from HarperCollins. Reviews in People Magazine and the New
York Times Book Review singled out her essay for special praise.
